The Canton Fair has a long history, dating back to 1957 and taking place in Guangzhou, China. Its full name since 2007 is China Import and Export Fair and it is presented by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, jointly organized by the China Foreign Trade Center.
Since then, it has become one of the most prestigious events on the international business calendar. The Canton Fair covers a wide range of industries and is the event where the largest number of business deals are achieved, thus, it is the main sourcing destination for buyers from all over the world.
Currently, the Canton Fair is held twice a year. The first edition takes place in spring (in the months of April-May) and the second in autumn (in October and November).
Editions and Phases Canton Fair 2023
Each edition is divided into three phases and works by specific product categories, so you can choose the best time to visit based on your interests. The 2023 Canton Fair will be divided as follows:
